VANISHING POINTS

I find it difficult to provide an objective assessment of this book that by its title should (but doesn't) render this web site irrelevant.

The author has provided a personal statement about his view of railways across England including diesels at Bristol and Gresley A4 pacifics at Kings Cross.

In between these diversions are many excellent photographs around Worcester. Sadly I feel the choice of matt paper has failed to produce any sparkle in the prints whilst the esoteric choice of captions (e.g. 'Smokey Zone 12th September 1965') is not to my liking.>

Nevertheless this is a brave effort and worth getting if you see it.
