This is 'Grange Class' No.6876 'Kingsland Grange' (a Bristol St Philip's Marsh engine) at the head of 1A68 the 12:05 from Hereford to London on 26th March 1965, deputising for a failed diesel. 92135 on 11/12/1965

This superb photograph shows Standard class 9F 2-10-0 No.92135 of Saltley Shed rounding the course towards Shrub Hill Station on 11th December 1965. The locomotive has probably come from the P.W.D. at Newland and is passing over the bridge that previously gave access to the Coal Drop Sidings. This bridge was still in use in 2014 providing road access to the diesel multiple unit servicing sidings.
