Maroon-liveried class 69 locomotive No.69009 Western Consort visited the Severn Valley Railway for the diesel gala in May 2024. On 20th May it returned to Wembley with class 73 No.73119, via Worcester. Robert Pritchard photographed the locomotives at Norton Barracks.

New housing has appeared in the area behind Worcester Shrub Hill Station and seen to good effect in this photograph of red livery DB class 66 diesel locomotive No.66012 on the occasional Saturday working of train 6V07, 13.33 Round Oak to Margam empty steel train. The train was running 90 minutes early and was held for 30 minutes awaiting a path. Photograph taken by Andrew Smith on 25th May 2024.

The autumn 2024 Rail Head Treatment train was scheduled to pass through Malvern in the evening and overnight making for little chance of decent photography. But on Sunday 6th October 2024 there was just enough light for Robert Pritchard to be able to photograph the train hauled by Colas livery class 67 diesel locomotives No.67027 and 67023. The train is code number 3S31 which leaves Swindon at 11.56.
