WORCESTER TO BIRMINGHAM
This volume in the Middleton Press "Ultimate Rail Encyclopedia" is an excellent addition to the series and displays a welcome return to historical accuracy. The authors are to be commended for correctly locating the position of Astwood Halt and even locating a reference to it on an Ordnance Survey map.
The book covers Kidderminster and Stourbridge before continuing on to Birmingham Snow Hill via Cradley Heath.
The choice of photographs is very good although I do wish they would use a higher grade of paper in their books as without this they lack sparkle and could be much improved but obviously at extra cost.
