No.70808 on freight to Gloucester Colas livery No.70808 seen at Croome with a Ratcliffe to Gloucester train of empty coal wagons, en route to Portbury. Photograph taken by Robert Cooke on 22nd January 2015.

No.43146 in advertising livery On 29th January 2015 Steve Widdowson was at Worcester Shrub Hill to photograph First Great Western class 43 power car No.43146, freshly repainted in advertising livery.

No.73138 at Abbotswood Junction Probably a first for the county was the passage of class 73 locomotive No.73138 diverted through Abbotswood Junction (above) and Spetchley (below) on its way from Eastleigh to Derby. Photographs taken by Steve Widdowson and Robert Cooke on 2nd February 2015.

No.73138 at spetchley

No.158824 at Bredicot On 27th August 2015 Steve Widdowson took advantage a rare burst of late August sunshine at Bredicot to photograph two-car class 158 diesel multiple unit No.158824 in Arriva Trains Wales livery returning to its home at Cardiff Canton after a C6 overhaul at Doncaster. It is seen complete with "Rail Operations Group" headboard.

No.172340 at Worcester This superb photograph was taken by Steve Wiidowson at Worcester Shrub Hill on 14th November 2015. It shows class 172 three-car diesel multiple unit No.172340 and "Inter City 125" class 43 power car No.43126 in revised livery.

For the previous three years (2012-2014) we have closed out the year with a black and white photograph of the afternoon Whitlocks End to Great Malvern London Midland service but it was not possible to produce an exact replica because of changes to the infrastructure at Newland East and the train itself was a three-car class 172 diesel multiple unit as opposed to the previous two sets of class 172 two-car units. Train 2V30, 13.19 Whitlocks End to Great Malvern, with No.172335 was photographed by Andrew Smith on 27th November 2015.
