This site comprised a large scrapyard at Long Marston alongside the line from Honeybourne to Stratford upon Avon.

Over the years many main line and some industrial locomotives were scrapped. Serviceable locomotives were often used for short periods to shunt stock.

This is ex BR No.D2857 (Yorkshire).

This is Drewry 2205 in use at Birds, Long Marston.
